ICTandclimatechange.com has carried out assignments for, and participated in activities with, some of the key players from the ICT sector. These include:

  • Stephen Young is currently contracted as a Senior Telecom Expert to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the specialized agency of the United Nations for ICTs. He is working on a paper covering the relationship between ICTs and climate change and the role for regulators. Stephen will present the paper at the 10th Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR) in 2010, and the paper will be published as a chapter in Trends in Telecommunication Reform 2010.
  • Training session for INFSO Directorate General, European Commission, Brussels.
  • Working with Carbonsense on a carbon awareness and reduction programme for a leading European telco. See: http://www.carbonsense.com/
