ICTandclimatechange.com has carried out assignments for, and participated in activities with, some of the key players from the ICT sector. These include:
- During 2011, Stephen Young was contracted as a consultant by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union to conduct a study on Climate Change Adaptation and ICTs.
- In 2010 Stephen Young was contracted as a Senior Telecom Expert (consultant) to the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN's specialized agency for ICTs. He produced a study for the ITU on the relationship between ICTs and climate change and the role for regulators. Stephen presented the paper at the 10th Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR) in Dakar in November 2010, and the paper has been published as a chapter in the ITU's Trends in Telecommunication Reform 2010/11.
